The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has made a significant announcement regarding Class 12 Commerce students preparing for the 2024 board exams. CBSE has stated that the printed formats in the Accountancy answer booklet for Class 12 students will no longer be provided. This decision aims to grant students more time to complete their accountancy exams with greater accuracy.
Previously, the answer booklets featured printed formats at the end to assist with specific questions. In the case of accountancy answer sheets, the last 7-8 pages were reserved for pre-printed tables to aid in addressing questions that necessitated reference for solving.
This presented a difficulty for students because questions that involved working notes were tackled on the ruled sheets, while the portions requiring the use of pre-printed formats were completed on the final pages. This frequently resulted in confusion among students, causing them to overlook various questions. Many commerce students encountered the same issue, as the time-consuming procedure often led to lower-than-expected scores.
